Hand embroidered bedspread

Because the reserve was not met we'll be organising a raffle to be drawn in 2012. You can buy your £1 raffle tickets from the Rosie Hospital Tea Bar and at any of our Rosie in Stitches stalls around the county.

Hand embroidered quilted bedspread

A lady in Bar Hill has donated 132 squares which she hand embroidered, each with a different flower. John Lewis has donated fabric for the edges and wadding. Another lady has spent two months stitching them together and turning them into a quilted bedspread.

The edge materials are a pale lime green and a pink with small white butterfly prints.

The back of the bedspread has large and small print pink flowers.

We shall have a stall at the Cambridge Nursing Centre Summer Fete in Chesterton, Cambridge from 2.30pm on Saturday 16th July. Selling toys, handbags, secondhand jewellery, homemade cards, teapot cosies and discount baby knitwear

Affinity Yarns Charity Open Day

On Sunday 22nd May 2011 between 2pm and 6pm at 19 Church Close, Whittlesford, CB22 4NY

Affinity Yarns are inviting you to come along for some yarn chat. They have loads of lovely pattern books to look through. They are stockists of Debbie Bliss, Rowan, Noro, Louisa Harding, Sirdar and Knit Pro.
