Because the reserve was not met we'll be organising a raffle to be drawn in 2012. You can buy your £1 raffle tickets from the Rosie Hospital Tea Bar and at any of our Rosie in Stitches stalls around the county.

Hand embroidered quilted bedspread

A lady in Bar Hill has donated 132 squares which she hand embroidered, each with a different flower. John Lewis has donated fabric for the edges and wadding. Another lady has spent two months stitching them together and turning them into a quilted bedspread.

The edge materials are a pale lime green and a pink with small white butterfly prints.

The back of the bedspread has large and small print pink flowers.

We shall have a stall at the Cambridge Nursing Centre Summer Fete in Chesterton, Cambridge from 2.30pm on Saturday 16th July. Selling toys, handbags, secondhand jewellery, homemade cards, teapot cosies and discount baby knitwear
